| 中文描述 | 無乳鍊球菌是最常引起泌乳牛發生乳房炎的病因之一。此種微生物專門生長於牛的乳房，並且造成牛群間牛隻彼此感染。但是也因為此病原只會存活於在乳房，所以是有機會根除的。臨床症狀可能從輕微到嚴重。藉由細菌培養做確診。牛群的乳汁體細胞術檢查數值如果很高，通常代表牛群中許多牛隻有無乳鍊球菌的感染。 |

| 英文描述 | STREPTOCOCCUS AGALACTIAE is one of the most common causes of mastitis in dairy cattle. The organism is an obligate parasite of the bovine udder, and can become endemic in a herd, but because it is an obligate parasite of the udder eradication is possible. Signs can vary from mild to severe. Dx by culture. Herds with very high somatic cell counts usually have S. AGALACTIAE in many cows. |
